Terms and conditions

  1. Only registered participants will be allowed to take part in the regional heats. Pre-registration is possible at www.gt5prologuechallengeme.com or you can register at any of the regional heats.
  2. To qualify, registered participants will drive a Nissan G35 GT-R '07 vehicle on the Eiger Nordwand circuit for 3 laps. The best lap will be the registered time. Only lap times which do not incur any time penalties will be considered.
  3. Registered participants will have the choice of either using a SIXAXISTM Wireless Controller or a Logitech Driving ForceTM GT wheel during the challenge.
  4. Only the winner of each of the regional heats will be invited to participate in the GT5 Prologue Challenge Middle East Grand Final in Dubai July 19th, 2008.
  5. Participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent/ guardian over 18 years of age to either the Middle East Grand Final or the trip to Japan.
  6. To be able to drive the Nissan GT-R car, participants and/or their companion must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid driving license.
  7. Participants must be a resident of the one of the following countries: Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia or United Arab Emirates. Participants may only participate in the regional heat in their country of residence.
  8. Winners of the regional heats* attending the GT5 Prologue Challenge Middle East Grand Final will be provided with two return economy air tickets from their home country to Dubai, UAE, as well as two nights 4-star (or above) hotel accommodation on a twin sharing, bed and breakfast basis plus all transfers.
  9. All finalists are responsible for visa applications to United Arab Emirates as well as travel and health insurance. All taxes and payments not specifically listed in the finalist communication must be met by the finalist. Sony Gulf FZE does not accept any liability.
  10. The first prize winner of the GT5 Prologue Challenge Middle East Grand Final will test drive the Nissan GT-R and win a trip to Japan for 3 nights with a friend. Business class tickets for two will be provided in addition to accommodation at a 5 star Tokyo hotel for the 3 nights. In addition the first prize winner will receive a GT5 pod (includes a 40" W Series BRAVIA LCD TV, a PlayStation 3 console, a Logitech Driving ForceTM GT wheel) and a GT5 Prologue game. The winner is responsible for visa issuance, any taxes, registration & insurance. The second prize winner will receive a 40" W Series BRAVIA LCD TV, a PlayStation 3 console, a GT5 Prologue game and a Logitech Driving ForceTM GT wheel. The third prize winner will receive a PlayStation 3 console, a GT5 Prologue game and a Logitech Driving ForceTM GT wheel. No cash alternative will be offered for any of the prizes.
  11. Employees of Sony Gulf FZE, Nissan Middle East FZE, their local distributors and agencies and associated companies are not eligible to take part in this promotion.
  12. Sony Gulf FZE, Nissan Middle East FZE, their local distributors and agencies accept no responsibility for any loss or damage suffered by any prize winner or any other person in connection with, or in the use of prizes, or the quality of service experiences. Sony Gulf FZE reserves the right to publish the names of winners and no correspondence will be entered into. The promotion is brought to you by Sony Gulf FZE.
