The Challenge
Gran Turismo fans - start your engines, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is in town! PlayStation have teamed up with Nissan Middle East FZE to organize the ultimate in racing gaming - Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Middle East Challenge.
Each competitor will be driving in a unique GT5 pod while racing on the breathtaking Eiger Nordwand circuit. If you clock the fastest time in your city, you will be flown to Dubai to compete in the Middle East Grand Final with the other fastest challengers in the region. The Grand Final winner gets to test drive the Nissan GT-R and a trip to Japan for 3 nights with a friend.

The Circuit
Eiger Nordwand (North Face) was the first course that the production team began working on when developing courses for the game. The team stayed for an extended period in Kleine Scheidegg in Switzerland looking up at the North Face of the Eiger Nordwand, which periodically reveals itself through the constantly changing weather.
The task was to capture not only the dynamic scenery, but also the airy feeling that is unique to high mountain regions; the creation of a world that makes you feel like you are actually there was achieved as a result of many repeated attempts through trial and error.
The Car - Nissan R35 GTR - 07
